Presentation of my person
My name is Dominic Bilke. I was born in 1984 in Cottbus, Germany, and spent my youth in Senftenberg (Lusatia). In 2004, I completed my *Abitur* (university entrance qualification) at the Senftenberg Gymnasium, focusing on mathematics and computer science. From 2008 to 2014, I studied Computer and Automation Engineering at HTW Dresden, graduating with a *Diplom-Ingenieur (FH)* degree and a "good" grade. Subsequently, I worked in various fields while also refreshing my academic knowledge through further training. I have been registered as a freelance engineer since 2022 and work on a variety of projects. Please download my application documents for more detailed information.

What is Freelance Engineering?
A freelance engineer is a person who works as an engineer and does not work as an employee in a company, but offers his services independently. A freelance engineer can work in various areas, such as mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, civil engineering or computer science. As a freelancer, the engineer is legally independent and usually not bound to fixed working hours or locations. He can plan, implement and bill his projects independently. This allows him a high degree of flexibility and independence, but also carries the risk of an uncertain order situation.
